PLYMOUTH, Mass. (July 22, 2025) Mamma Mia's Restaurants are founded on a long tradition of being a home-grown small business carving our distinctive mark on our communities. That's why we love to support other local entrepreneurs, especially those involved in food. This summer, we're collaborating with Marshfield's own Scale & Spoon to bring exquisite gourmet cookies to our guests and neighbors. 
Mamma Mia's is known for serving great tasting, authentic Italian food made from fresh, homemade ingredients. We have been family-owned and operated since 1974. When our founders opened our first restaurant in Kingston fifty years ago, we were two brothers and two wives making dough and meatballs daily. The tradition was passed to the second generation who helped grow the company to seven more restaurants on the South Shore; including six Mamma Mia's; Carmela's in Kingston, and ThreeV in Plymouth. As a family-owned and operated business, we are deeply connected to our communities. We've been successful thanks to the support of generations of South Shore residents. That's why we want to help get the word out about our new friend and neighbor Scale & Spoon. But how?
Scale & Spoon is a cottage bakery in Marshfield. For four years, Owner/Baker/Pastry Chef Tenley McGowan has been a staple at farmer's markets, business fairs, and more. Her online pre-order system with easy curb-side pickup has made her treats wildly popular for PTO gifts, teacher appreciation gifts, office parties, and baby/bridal shower treats. She also makes gorgeous custom cakes and cupcake displays. She recently obtained her permit to sell retail, and we are THRILLED to provide a new way for her followers to find her goods!
Scale & Spoon cookies are available at Marshfield Mamma Mia's at the take-out window. These pre-packaged, individually wrapped gourmet cookies are delivered to us weekly and have limited quantities available. Our current selection includes:
Coconut Caramel - chewy coconut cookie dipped in smooth dark chocolate, drizzled with caramel and chocolate Salted Toffee - Brown butter, chocolate chip cookies with homemade toffee, a sprinkle of sea salt Chocolate Chip - Deliciously baked old-fashioned cookies with milk chocolate chips.
This collaboration begins July 2025. Cookies are delivered weekly and are available while supplies last. Sorry, Scale & Spoon cookies are not available through DoorDash or online ordering. It is not necessary to purchase Mamma Mia's food in order to purchase Scale & Spoon cookies from our take-out window.
