Who We Are

The Viscariello Hospitality Group (VHG) is a family-owned business that runs several popular restaurant brands in the South Shore of Massachusetts. Our restaurants include Mamma Mia’s, ThreeV, Carmela’s, and Mia’s Catering. 

When the Viscariello Family came to America a half-century ago, they had a clear vision: To open a restaurant in their family’s name and serve great tasting, authentic Italian food made from fresh, homemade ingredients that they grew up on in their hometown of Airola, Italy.

This dream came true when Mamma Mia’s in Kingston opened for business in 1974. Today, through the efforts of the family’s second generation, Mamma Mia’s has expanded to six towns including Plymouth Waterfront, Plymouth Pinehills, Marshfield, Carver, Hanover, and our original location in Kingston.

Each of our restaurants has their own unique charm that reflects the character of their surrounding communities. 

With the success of its first location and the ambition of the second generation, the Viscariello Family opened Carmela’s Restaurant in tribute to their mother. Almost 45 years to the date of the original Mamma Mia’s opening, they introduced ThreeV to their hometown, Plymouth.

Nearly 50 years later they are still creating great tasting meals made from fresh ingredients and striving to serve the community with the same family values they were brought up on—honesty, integrity, and a delicious meal.
