The Viscariello Hospitality Group (VHG) is a family-owned restaurant group proudly serving the South Shore of Massachusetts. Our hospitality family includes several beloved local brands—Mamma Mia's, ThreeV, Carmela's Restaurant, and Mia's Catering—each offering authentic Italian flavors, warm hospitality, and a true community dining experience.
Our Family Story
When the Viscariello Family immigrated to America more than 50 years ago, they carried with them a clear vision: Open a family restaurant that serves great-tasting, authentic Italian food made from the fresh, homemade ingredients they grew up with in their hometown of Airola, Italy.
That dream became a reality in 1974 with the opening of Mamma Mia's Kingston, the first restaurant in what would become a proud South Shore tradition.
Growing Across the South Shore
Through the dedication and passion of the family's second generation, Mamma Mia's expanded beyond its original home in Kingston. Today, guests can enjoy our classic Italian dishes in six towns across Massachusetts:

Expanding the Family of Brands
Fueled by the success of Mamma Mia's and the ambition of the next generation, the family opened Carmela's Restaurant, a heartfelt tribute to their mother.
Nearly 45 years after the first Mamma Mia's opened, the family introduced ThreeV in their hometown of Plymouth—a modern restaurant concept celebrating tradition, creativity, and community.
The group also expanded into full-service catering through Mia's Catering, bringing homemade Italian cuisine and exceptional hospitality to events across the South Shore.
