Help Plymouth Restauranteur Support Nepal Flood Victims
The Ghale family owns and operates The Himalya, the Lobster Hut, and Momo Hut in Plymouth. The recent disaster in Nepal and Tibet is deeply personal for them.
On August 26, 2026, a catastrophic flash flood struck the Nepal-Tibet border region, causing devastating loss of life and widespread destruction. As of August 29, authorities and news reports have confirmed at least 676 deaths across Nepal and Tibet, with nearly 3,000 people still missing.
Timure, and Ghattekhola in Rasuwa are where the Ghale family migrated from, where their parents were born and raised and where generations of their family have lived.
The Ghale Family has suffered devastating losses in this disaster -- close family members, relatives, and loved ones -- only a few have survived.
Viscariello Hospitality Group is a company founded by immigrants who still hold close ties with family back in Italy. We we can only imagine the weight the incredible weight of this moment. August Help Chris Recover from Motorcycle Accident
Chris was recently involved in a serious motorcycle accident that left him with significant injuries.
Chris is a U.S. Army Veteran. He served with the 101st Airborne with several tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. Currently he serves the Boston Police Department.
Our donation will directly support Chris's family while they focus needs to be on his recovery and spending time together as a family.
July Honoring Madelyn's Spirt
During a family ski trip in Utah in February 2026, Madelyn was tragically caught in an avalanche while skiing with her father and brother. She passed away on February 19, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and inspiration. The Forever1111 Organization was created in her honor.
June Maddie's Fire Recovery
Maddie Patch, a Moderate Special Needs and Mathematics Teacher at Plymouth North High School, experienced a devastating loss when a fire destroyed their second-floor condo. While Maddie and her partner Grant were able to escape safely with their two dogs, they tragically lost their beloved cat and all of their belongings.
May Nathan's Fight Against Cancer
Nathan, a 36-year-old Carver resident, was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer in January 2026 after a sudden and life-altering medical emergency left him paralyzed from the waist down. What initially seemed like complications from a fall quickly escalated, leading to the discovery of a mass on his spine that required emergency surgery.
April Amari's Journey to Safety
Amari is an almost 4-year-old boy with autism. He is nonverbal and lacks awareness of danger, making everyday moments—like going to the park or for a walk—challenging and often unsafe.
Our support enabled Amari to be matched with a full-time service dog that will help keep him safe. Consider donating to the training that will continue as both Amari and his dog grow and age.
